Well, isn’t it nice to see you here? Welcome to Honeycomb Houses…
I’d love to tell you a little bit about us but, boy, where do we even begin?
Quite simply, we’re a family-run institution born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779.
Our British heritage underpins every pub that we look after, nurturing each into the 21st century with our distinctly playful nature.
We’re not a chain. All of our sites sit as they should, nestled in the towns and villages that surround them, each with their own personality, yet with similar traits that simply run in the family.
If you hadn’t guessed by now, family is important and that’s why the future of Honeycomb Houses has plenty of heart. Warm welcomes and making treasured memories are what we’re all about.
We want our customers to return again and again, so we can pass our happy houses on to the next generation.
Happy Hounds
Some of our favourite guests greet us with a wagging tail. We keep it wagging with our pooch friendly amenities and tasty treats.
We’re proud to say that each of our Honeycomb Houses is dog-friendly. We understand that your four-legged friend is a huge part of your family. And they’ll be greeted just as warmly as you…only with tummy tickles.
Dogs are warmly welcomed both indoors and outdoors at each of our houses. Our team are always on hand to dish out treats, water and plenty of doggy cuddles. So, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a pawfect pint with your pooch.
Ravishing Rooms
Whether you’re looking for country stays away or bustling townhouse retreats – we have an astonishing array of 129 ravishing rooms across 7 of our Honeycomb Houses.
From Gloucestershire to Buckinghamshire, we offer a stunning selection of double and twin rooms with a range of amenities.
Each boutique room features an en-suite bathroom, sensational sink-in beds, luxurious complimentary toiletries, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-fi. Plus, some of our rooms welcome dogs, promising a restful night for both you and your canine companion.
Alfresco Dining
Sample our sensational seasonal dishes under the sun whilst making memories in our outstanding outdoor spaces. With so many breath-taking locations on offer, we want our parched punters and peckish patrons to enjoy what the Great British countryside has to offer.
That’s why our Honeycomb Houses boast picturesque plots perfect for al fresco dining. During the Spring and Summer months, there’s no better place to be than dining, drinking and dancing the night away in our large pub gardens. Most of our pub gardens are also available as private and spacious event spaces, so you can celebrate under the stars.
Perfect Events
From wondrous wedding receptions to birthday bonanzas, Honeycomb Houses is proud to host spectacular events at our abundance of events spaces.
Whether you seek a cosy private dining room for an intimate dinner party, an elegant outdoor setting for a glamourous garden celebration, or a stylish and unique space for a corporate event, we’ve got you covered.
Our versatile venues offer everything you could possibly need, from bountiful bar menus to masterfully-crafted cuisine. And our in-house party planners are happy to help every step of the way.
Good old family fun
Thrash friends in a game of chess or show off your spelling prowess with a spirited spot of scrabble with our range of good-time games.
At Honeycomb Houses, we want you to feel at home. And a house isn’t a home without family. Our houses offer the perfect place for pleasurable past times with the whole family in tow (including your four-legged BFF!).
Make memories that you will treasure forever whilst tucking into our scrumptious selection of crafted cuisine. And raise a toast to family and friends with a tasty tipple from our impressive bar menu. Our Houses are a home away from home, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
One Big Family
The Honeycomb Houses family is made up of around 250 exceptional individuals. Each team member is an integral part of the hive, working hard to maintain exceptional establishments that our valued patrons love. The core Honeycomb Houses team features seven family members.
Tom Davies, Founder of Honeycomb Houses and Chief Executive of Brakspear, had the original vision for the company. He is also the biggest champion of the “Our House, Your Home” ethos. Chief Financial Officer David Nathan and Finance Manager Vicky Manning are responsible for all things financial. Our marketing team is made up of Marketing Manager Jacqueline Fletcher and Marketing Executive Holly Harden-Sweetnam. And our fantastic Operations Managers, Sophie Johnson and Dean Bigley, oversee the day to day of our 9 Houses.
Each Honeycomb House then has a tremendous on-site team that keeps things buzzing. This includes a General Manager, Deputy Managers and an array of brilliant handpicked team members.
