The Frogmill, our beautiful 16^th-century pub and restaurant in Cheltenham was crowned as the Best Pub in the United Kingdom. And the elated Honeycomb Houses team couldn’t be prouder if we tried.

The National Pub & Bar Awards 2022

On Wednesday 22^nd June, our team put on their glad rags and headed to the glamourous awards ceremony in London’s Euston Square for a night of celebration.

And what a night it was! 

The Honeycomb Houses team was already elated following the National Pub & Bar Award’s April announcement, which congratulated not one but two of our enchanting establishments for being County winners. 

The Frogmill was named Best Pub in Gloucestershire and The George in Shipston-on-Stour was named Best Pub in Warwickshire. 

On Wednesday night, we were joined by 93 other county-winning venues to raise a glass (or three) to the leading businesses in the pub and bar industry.

We were ecstatic when The Frogmill went on to be named the Best Pub in its region (South West). Our wonderful pub and restaurant then went up against 14 other regional winners and was crowned THE BEST IN THE UK. It was praised by judges for its flawless operation, attention to detail and genuine hospitality.

Our very own Simon Stanbrook, the General Manager of The Frogmill said “This award is for the team — from our housekeeping to kitchen and events to front of house teams, they work exceptionally hard day in, day out. We work together like a family. We have an eye for detail and want to give our visitors a warm welcome.
